Ngumija Township
On September 13th, concerned elders from Ngumija township in Ward 14 of the Hwange Central constituency took proactive steps to maintain their local cemetery. Braving the scorching heat, the elders gathered to clear away the overgrown grass and shrubs that had threatened to overrun the cemetery area.
This community effort not only restored the cemetery’s dignity but also reflected the elders’ commitment to honoring the resting place of their loved ones. Hon. Daniel Molokeli joined the local community elders, lending his support to their noble initiative. Together, they demonstrated the power of community spirit and the importance of preserving local heritage.
