Civil servants will receive their 2026 annual bonuses in two equal instalments, with the first half expected in November and the remaining amount in December.

The announcement was made by Finance, Economic Development and Investment Promotion Minister Professor Mthuli Ncube following the 2027 Pre-Budget Seminar held in Bulawayo.

Minister Ncube assured government employees that they would receive their bonuses, saying the Government had maintained its record of paying annual bonuses.

“We are going to pay civil servants their bonuses without any difficulty. As the Second Republic, we have never missed the payment of civil servants’ bonuses,” said Ncube.

He also thanked civil servants for their hard work and contribution to the country.

Traditional chiefs will also receive annual bonuses, with Ncube indicating that the extension of bonus payments to traditional leaders started last year.

According to a report by The Herald, the bonuses will be paid in two equal instalments, with 50 percent being paid in November 2026 and the remaining 50 percent in December 2026.
