Scottland and Highlanders Keep Unbeaten Records Intact

The highly anticipated Zimbabwe PSL derby showcased Scottland FC hosting Highlanders to a thrilling clash at the Rufaro Stadium in Harare. Both Teams had their fair share of scoring chances but both keepers had no intention of conceding.

The end result was a 0 – 0 draw which saw the points shared between the teams with Scottland FC 4th On the League Table with 12 Points and Highlanders 12th with 6 points. Both teams remain 2 of the remaining 4 unbeaten teams this season the other being Dynamos sitting on 2nd with 14 points and Ngezi Platinum Stars FC Sitting just below Scottland FC with 11 points.

Scottland had their usual line up while the highly decorated Highlanders manager Benjamin Mwaruwari made a few changes which saw Mahachi feature on Left wing Back position instead of his usual Left Wing forward position. Both teams had scoring opportunities, a brilliant shot by Moffat saw the woodwork come to the Highlanders rescue in the 75th minute and in the 24th minute Msebe slipped in a delicious ball to Dzvukamnja who beat one defender to put the ball to his strong left foot to take a shot but out of nowhere a another highlanders defender comes out and makes a brilliant block to save Bosso from the misery.

Rising prospect Mongameli Tshuma located Reason Sibanda with a quality Delivery who connected well but it went wide in the 38th Minute plus a quality free kick forced a brilliant top angle save from the Scottland Goalie in the 65th minute. Scottland FC now have 3 wins and 3 draws out of their 6 games while Highlanders continue with their draw streak of now 6 games in a row.
