Nicole was crowned Miss Supranational Zimbabwe on 6 June 2026, and although it was her first pageant, she impressed many with her confidence, elegance and passion for representing Zimbabwe on the world stage.
The Miss Supranational 2026 crown was won by Katrina Llegado of the Philippines, but Nicole’s performance and dedication earned praise from Zimbabweans at home and abroad.
One of the biggest highlights of her journey was her striking national costume, inspired by the Bridal Veil Falls in Chimanimani. The costume celebrated Zimbabwe’s natural beauty and told a story of resilience, survival and hope. According to the designers, it symbolised the strength of the people of Chimanimani and the beauty that continues to shine despite life’s challenges.
Throughout the competition, Nicole proudly carried the Zimbabwean flag and used every opportunity to showcase her country to the world.
After the pageant, Nicole took to social media to thank Zimbabweans for their unwavering support.
“Thank you Zimbabwe and everyone who believed in me. I really appreciate your support, love, votes and prayers,” she wrote.
In a longer message reflecting on her experience, Nicole described representing Zimbabwe at Miss Supranational as one of the greatest honours of her life.
She said reaching the Top 24 was an achievement made possible by the prayers, encouragement, votes and belief of Zimbabweans.
Nicole also thanked the Miss Universe Zimbabwe Board, her sponsors, designers, coach, employer, family and everyone who supported her journey. She said the experience may have come to an end, but her mission to serve Zimbabwe and inspire others has only just begun.
“This achievement belongs to all of us. Thank you for allowing me to represent our beautiful nation with pride, dignity and passion,” she said.
Although Nicole did not bring home the crown, her remarkable journey has been widely celebrated by Zimbabweans, with many praising her for representing the country with grace, confidence and pride.
For many, Nicole Nyawera proved that success is not measured only by winning a title, but also by the impact made while proudly carrying the nation’s flag on the global stage.
