Friday, 19th September will be remembered as a landmark night in Victoria Falls, as the city transformed into the epicenter of entertainment, headlined by an electrifying performance from the Venda Queen herself, Makhadzi.

The magic behind this unforgettable event was crafted through the collaboration of three visionary organizers: Prosper Manyanda and Patrick Musonza from Victoria Falls, along with Dee Nosh from Harare. Together, they launched the VicFalls Spring Fiesta, a dynamic new festival brand designed to bring world-class entertainment to Zimbabwe’s tourism capital.

Drawing nearly 4,000 revelers to the Baobab School grounds, the festival attracted fans from across Zimbabwe and beyond. Visitors traveled from cities including Bindura and Gwanda, as well as from Francistown, Australia, and other distant locations, all eager to be part of this historic celebration.

The success of the inaugural VicFalls Spring Fiesta was made possible by the steadfast support of key partners and stakeholders. Special recognition goes to Ward 1 Councillor, Mr. Tonderai Mutasa, alongside other councilors, the Baobab School headmistress, and local accommodation and safari providers including Bhejani Lodges, Kasambabezi Lodge, Wildserve Safaris, and Simunye. These partners played an instrumental role in hosting the artists and warmly welcoming South African guests on their first day in Victoria Falls.

The overwhelming success of this debut edition has set a promising precedent. Victoria Falls is now poised to become a vibrant hub of entertainment, with more exciting, well-curated events featuring prominent artists and memorable experiences on the horizon.
